You are bidding on a Fluke 1550C Megohmmeter / Insulation Resistance Tester, 5kV, >2 Teraohm.  It can test a wide range of high voltage equipment. The redesigned Fluke 1550C insulation resistance tester offers digital insulation testing up to 10 kV, making it possible to test a large range of high voltage equipment such as switchgear, motors, generators and cables. When you work with the Fluke 1550C you can store your measurements in up to 99 memory locations that are assigned uniquely and defined by you. The long battery life makes it possible for you to conduct up to 750 tests between chargings, and the Fluke 1550C insulation testers have a CAT IV 600 V safety rating.

Digital insulation testing up to 10kV
The Fluke 1550C insulation resistance testers offer digital insulation testing up to 10kV, making them ideal for testing a wide range of high voltage equipment including switchgear, motors, generators, and cables. Fluke insulation testers can now conduct the entire range of test voltages specified in IEEE 43-2000. With measurement storage and PC interface, the 1555 and 1550C are perfect tools for preventative or predictive maintenance programs designed to identify potential equipment failures before they occur.

Automatic calculation of Dielectric Absorption (DAR) and Polarization Index (PI)        with no additional setup
Guard system eliminates the effect of surface leakage current on high                        resistance measurements
Large digital/analog LCD for easy viewing
Test voltages up to 10 kV provides solutions for all applications
CAT III 1000 V, CAT IV 600 V safety rating
Voltage breakdown detection alerts the user that voltage is present and gives            the voltage reading up to 600 V ac or dc for increased user safety
Selectable test voltages in 50 V steps from 250 to 1000 V, and 100 V steps                above 1000 V
Measurements can be stored in up to 99 memory locations, with each location          assigned a unique, user defined, label for easy recall
Capacitance and leakage current measurement
Ramp function for breakdown testing
Resistance measurements up to 2TΩ
Timer settings up to 99 minutes for timed tests
This unit is in excellent condition, has been fully tested and is guaranteed functional. It comes with a 30 day right of return should it not perform to your expectations. Please review pics and text carefully before bidding to verify accuracy of description. If you don't see it in the pictures, it is not included.

All instruments are professionally packed and shipped via UPS GROUND with full insurance. We typically ship within the continental US only (please no PO Boxes) unless other arrangements have been made with the buyer. International customers may provide their UPS, DHL or FedEx account for international shipments. Items will be shipped within 7 business days of payment.

All items sold on Ebay come with a standard 30 day right of return warranty from the date of receipt, unless otherwise specified in the auction details. Payment in full is required prior to shipment. Buyers are required to notify us immediately if an instrument arrives damaged, and must keep all boxes and packing materials in case a UPS damage inspection is necessary. An extended warranty of 30 days is available for all direct purchases from Spaulding Surplus, LLC and established customers purchasing directly may qualify for net 30 payment terms with PO required prior to shipment.

All Ebay items can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase should they not function as intended, unless they are being sold AS IS with known defects. Spaulding Surplus, LLC shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from buyer/operator negligence, or the improper use of its equipment, nor does it warrant their suitability for any specific application or project. The verification of product capability is the sole responsibility of the buyer. PO's and purchases cancelled due to insufficient instrument capability, buyer's remorse or loss of order are always subject to a 20% restocking fee.
