Antique Civil War Era Leather Frame Case Embossed Gold Alloy Frame

An antique Civil War Era  embossed black leather frame and held in a gold colored, ornately embossed gold alloy frame. The opposite side of the tin type is a  embossed velvet.
The leather embossed frame case housing this antique tin type is in  nice condition however, the two pieces have separated.  There are no rips or tears to the leather with minimal wear for a piece of this age.    The first picture is the closest to coloring.  For some reason it was hard to get pictures to match the naked eye.  3 x 2 1/2
