CONSTRUCTION
Primary upper construction of advanced microfiber for durability, comfort and extreme levels of abrasion resistance.
SMX-1 R Boot is CE certified to Cat 2 CE Certified to 89/686/ECC EU Directive.
TECHNICAL INNOVATIONS
Innovative heel counter support system, works together with strap closing to deliver improved support and fit as well as structural integrity.
Rear of heel counter redesigned with soft TPR insert working together with rear flex zone to permit greater freedom of ankle movement and comfort on the bikes controls, plus durable TPR shift pad.
User friendly new boot shaping for forefoot streamlining which delivers wide-ranging foot profile, comfort and fit.
Newly designed TPR lateral and medial side protection delivers excellent abrasion resistance and durability.
Evolved closing strap which is anatomically angled to follow natural shape of rider’s instep.
Alpinestars unique compound rubber sole with newly designed grip patterning to enhance improved feel and grip, water dispersion and durability.
PERFORMANCE FIT
Instep and Achilles’ accordion flex area constructed of featherweight microfiber for optimized levels of durability, comfort and maneuverability on and off the bike.
Front hook and loop closing system provides a quick and secure fit over the instep zone while allowing excellent levels of flex. Strap highlights TPR puller for effortless use.
Medial zip closing guarantees effortless in and out; zip is covered with hook and loop and microfiber flap to protect bike from scratches.
Double density ankle protector on medial side layered under the upper delivers protective performance and abrasion resistance in key area.
Integrated, replaceable bi-injected TPU forefoot slider highlights new easy-screw fixing concept for quicker and easier replacement.
External, high modulus TPU heel counter, lateral ankle and shift pad for upgraded shock protection and durability.
Internal toe box protection is layered under the upper for durability, performance and improved feel.
Detachable anatomic foot-bed includes EVA foam and Lycra® for convenience, support and comfort.
Internal mesh lining for cooling comfort and moisture-wicking.

MEASURING YOUR FEET
Flatten your foot by shifting your weight forward. Use a ruler or tape measurer to measure your foot from the heel to the tip of your longest toe.
It is best to measure your feet after a full day of walking because walking can slightly increase the size of your feet.
It is best to measure your feet wearing the type of socks or stockings you will be wearing in the shoe you plan to purchase. Only measure your feet while barefoot if you plan to wear shoes over your bare feet.
Remember that the difference in shoe size measurements is often as small as 1/8 of an inch, so your foot measurements will need to be equally detail-oriented to be effective. Rounding up or down will decrease the accuracy of the measurement and your likelihood of finding a good shoe fit.
Measure both feet. Most people's feet are slightly asymmetrical. When buying shoes use the measurements from the larger foot.

Wrong size, wrong color - No Problem!
Return new/unused items to MxMegastore within 30 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price of the items. You MUST start a return in your account before sending the item back to us. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.  Shipping fees or costs associated with international shipping, duties, taxes or brokerage fees are non-refundable. Items which have been used or installed on your machine will not be accepted for refund.
Returns must include all tags, packaging and be shipped in a sturdy shipping box. Items received that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted and will be sent back to you.
